  Through local partnerships the Education-to-Careers system provides
  all students the opportunity to prepare for successful employment,
  citizenry and lifelong learning. Businesses just like yours are key partners,
  working together with local educators, parents, and community agencies,
  assuring that students are prepared for the jobs that will help them
  achieve success in the increasingly competitive global marketplace.

Why Education-to-Careers?

    Our education system has not kept pace with the changes taking place in the workplace. The consequences
    of the system being out-of-sync have taken a great toll on American businesses. Increasingly businesses are finding
    that the demand for skilled workers far exceeds the supply. Over 50% of U.S. employers say they can not find
    qualified applicants for entry-level positions. An estimated $30 billion is spent each year to train and retrain the
    American workforce.


How Can Your Business Participate?
